Milavitsa organized a grand outdoor show ‘Solar Wind” in the center of Minsk, which was received with wide public acclaim.

Since the first participation of the company in “Salon International de la Lingerie” in Paris, MILAVITSA was thrice awarded the prize of the French fashion magazine, Madame Figaro, for its distinctive designs.
MILAVITSA was the first Belarusian Company to be awarded the ISO 9001-96 Quality Certificate.
Milavitsa released its first swimwear collection.
It was transformed into a Joint-Stock Company; and later the first MILAVITSA outlet store in Minsk was opened.
The new company name is MILAVITSA.
The factory became the parent company of the Minsk production sewing association named “Komsomolka”.
The company later changed its profile to the production of corsetry articles and became one of the biggest women's lingerie producer in the USSR.
Recovery of the factory after the Great Patriotic War since 1950 resulted in the company becoming specialized in sewing garments and switched to making handbags and clothing.
After the nationalization of the cooperative association, the factory named "Beloruska" was set up. This was the first public haberdashery company in the USSR. In 1932 it was renamed as the Frunze factory.
The former employees of the Tourne private factory established Spartacus cooperative association producing plastic haberdashery products.
In 1908 in Minsk, the French brothers Tourne, founded a haberdashery factory for production of ladies' combs.
